Areca Ann Horne, 27, of Decatur passed away Monday April 11, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Funeral service will be 12:00 PM Monday April 18, 2011 at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood St. Funeral Home with visitation one hour before. Cremation rites will be accorded after funeral service.
Areca was born on September 18, 1983 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Andrea Riley and Carlotta Horne. Areca is survived by her son Faheem Horne of Decatur, mother Carlotta Horne of Decatur, father Andrea Riley of Chicago, brothers Kenyadde Horne, Isaiah Horne, Jeremy Horne and Demetri Horne; sisters Jazma Horne, Delihah Horne and Sharhonda Horne; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
Areca was preceded in death by her son Arec M. Hallom, Grandmother: Ruth Ann Horne and Uncle: Tony Horne
Areca was a very loving mother, daughter, sister and dear friend to many.
